Have you done anything to scare yourself this week? This month? This year? Ideally, you should be finding something to do that pushes your comfort zone a little bit everyday. Don’t miss the chance to be your own goblin and strike some fear into yourself. There is nothing like being afraid to get your blood flowing and your adrenaline pumping.
The End is Near
We’re two months away from the end of the year and some of you are dialing it in thinking that this year is practically over so you might as well not start on your goals until the new year. Sure, you can buy into the mentality that this time of the year is busy and you won’t really have time to make much progress on anything big and what difference is a couple of months going to make anyway?
Stop. Right. There.
A day can make a big difference. Heck, an hour can make a huge difference. Chipping away at the biggest of goals is best started right now. We mean it. Right now. What are you going to do about it.
Fear Can Feel Good
Well, at least overcoming your fear can feel good. Imagine waking up on the morning of January first and thinking you’ve got a nice head start on that 2018 goal versus waking up and feeling completely overwhelmed by all the work you have to do to achieve that big goal.
Scaring yourself with something small on a daily basis will prepare you for the bigger things you need to face tomorrow.
