Fence Sitting Is Lame
We're talking about sitting on the fence; mulling things over for unnecessarily long periods of time and excusing your lack of action. What? You don't like our very literal image of Pony sitting on a fence. Too bad. We thought about what image would be the most attention grabbing and made a decision. Yep! We decided and just like that we took action.
Procrastination Will Zap Your Energy
Being a fence sitter is a drag on your time and energy. You might try to justify your indecision with needing time to do more research or comparison on the subject, but chances are you're putting it off in fear of making the wrong choice. Buyer's remorse... decider's remorse... that's the worst. Or the second worst. There is one thing that is way worse, the no-action-taker's remorse.
Eek! That’s the worst of the worst!
Indecision Slows Everything Down
Imagine this: you're at a restaurant with your friends and you can't decide what to eat and the entire table is waiting on you to place their order. The patience of the group is tested and you're bound to be teased. When indecision happens in your personal pursuits it often goes unnoticed and unchecked. It can go on for hours, weeks, month and even years.
Don't Waste Your Life on the Fence
Get on with it. Make a choice and take action. You're likely making every decision out to be a bigger deal than they are. Whether you have a burger or a salad for lunch is minor. Moving to another country is pretty major, but you can always move back. Get off the fence and start something, you can always change your mind later.
What are you waiting for?
