Step Into The Light
You might not hear the spotlight calling your name so we'll give you a friendly nudge.
Show the world who you really are and have fun with it. We're fairly confident you won't get sucked into an unknown vortex or get beamed up by aliens. In fact, it might not be bad at all. It might be great. Something really good might happen. The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination.
Sharing is Daring
Your parents taught you to share. You’ve shared all sorts of things; your lunch, your toys, your friends and many other things—and sometimes you did it reluctantly. Your talent needs to be shared too.
We’ll assume that we’re all familiar with this classic quote: If a tree falls in a forest and nobody's around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Let’s reframe that thought with this new angle: If a creative makes something totally awesome and nobody’s around to experience it, does it really make an impact?
Oh, how disturbing and selfish those creative types can be… keeping all that cool stuff to themselves.
Your Imagination is Incredible
Let's talk about your fantastic imagination for a minute and the power it has over you. What? You think you own your imagination? Not a chance. Think of how many times you've caught yourself thinking about things you didn't want to think about or fantasizing about terrible outcomes. Training your imagination to obey is an ongoing job, because it's a trickster. It weaves daydreams and night dreams and random schemes. Your imagination helps you with come up with new ideas and solutions... then it convinces you not to share it.
Show 'em What You've Got
There's no sense in hiding your contribution or withholding your creativity. In order for everyone to benefit from your unique abilities, you have to step out and allow yourself to be seen.
We dare you!
