Forget Blue, this Monday is Yellow!
Mondays seem to have a bad reputation and Blue Monday the worst of them all. This one is all in your head. There is no reason why today needs to feel any less amazing than a Saturday. Yes, it’s mid January and you’re smack between the merriment of Christmas celebrations and the pink-tastic love storm of Valentine’s Day. You might be pushing yourself by eliminating sugar to balance out the overdose you had last month and the overdose you’ll experience next month.
The Highs are Awesome and Lows are Tough
Nobody said this rollercoaster ride we call life would be smooth. It’s an exhilarating ride with the highest highs and the lowest lows and when you find yourself in one of the lows remember that it’ll go back up eventually so don’t get off. Whatever you do, do not get off. Keep working toward your goals like you know they are going to happen.
Blue Deserves Better
Lavender is calm, yellow is cheerful, pink is girlie and red is love. We’re all trapped in this rainbow of definitions and we forget that we can break free any moment we choose to. You can use black for sleek and modern, it doesn’t always need to be grim and dark. Feel free to use blue as fresh with unlimited joy, like the sky on a cloudless day. Think of Blue Monday as the happiest day of the year and do whatever you need to do to make it more of an upper than a downer.
Your Day is Yours
Why do we insist on labeling downer days? It’s crazy. Can’t we just breeze through this Monday with a hop, skip and a jump like we’re excited for our first day of the week? We think we can.
