Always remember who you are and why you started!
Occasionally things are going to go sideways and push you off your path. They might be big or little and have you questioning your purpose and goals. If you get swept up in dissecting whether or not this is a sign to give up or a challenge to overcome you might end up stuck ruminating. What should you do next?
Take a moment and reflect on where you are.
When we have our heads down and we’re working hard we can become disconnected from the world around us. Then when we look up it can be dizzy making because everyone else has been doing there thing too. If you look up one day and have a bad case of the comparisons you might think you’re path isn’t worthy of you time and dedication because you don’t seem to be getting anywhere.
Allowing the influence of others to confuse you is dangerous.
Sure, you should look up once and a while to see what else is going on and adjust your path to accommodate technology and changes that influence your goals. Just don’t get distracted by the so-called shiny thing. It might be fools gold. In today’s social media there are more fake diamonds and fools gold than there are genuine things. You have to be careful to remember that it’s easy to put tinsel on your tree, but it can make a mess of things later.
Keep building your dreams without delay.
Don’t waste too much time worrying about what other people tell you about what you should be doing. Your time is yours. Always remember that at the end of the day you accountable to you. If you don’t chase your dreams or act on your big goals they’re guaranteed not to happen. And we think it’s better to bet on yourself than someone else.
