About the Author

Often described as “the most creative person I know,” Elise Russell has dedicated her life to ignoring social norms and pursuing the things she’s passionate about. Elise started Pony Friday in 2012 as a personal quest to behave boldly.

As a second generation entrepreneur, Elise grew up experiencing the economic ups and downs of the entrepreneurial rollercoaster. Elise prefers to call her own money struggles “financial acrobatics” and focuses on being creative and controtionist•ically flexible to the cashflow demands of running a business. She remains a committed solopreneur, forever dedicated to living life on her own terms.

Elise currently lives in Calgary, Alberta with her plus one and two rambunctious couch-hurdling Dalmatians.
